SNL season opener with host Seth MacFarlane
Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and that Abby girl may be gone from Saturday Night Live but expect a funny night tonight in your living room watching Family Guy & Ted creator’s Seth MacFarlane to host tonight. With Frank Ocean as a musical you can be certain the likes of Lorne, Kenan, Seth, Jason, Fred & Jay will not disappoint—especially this close to an election. Expect some solid Mitt & Barack throwdowns and oh, please say you will include a skit with Akin in it? I really miss the satire during the summer, especially when crazy real life-paradoble events are happening every day. Expect “SNL Weekend Update Thursday” to start back up these next couple months. If you are looking to get some standby tickets to see it live go HERE. Be sure to follow them on twitter here.

Music Walk—Dancing at the Davis Mad Men Party
The Sidney & Berne Davis seems to have decided to have a Dancing at the Davis afterparty at every Music Walk. Come dressed as your favorite character from Mad Men this Friday or don your best 60’s look and be transported to that magical era. Mix, mingle and shake from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. as the Quintet performs a tribute to Frank Sinatra. In the spirit of AMC’s award-winning television series Mad Men, join the party in your coiffed “housewife” glamor- with red lipstick and pearls- or go with the mod side of the 60’s in a mini-dress, nude lips and bouffant. Gentlemen, wear your skinny grey suit and rep tie, your madras sport coat, or come in your shirtsleeves. Enjoy retro drinks, retro fun, and stay until the party ends! Music Walk is free; admission to the Mad Men after-party is $10. The Danny Sinoff Band will be doing a Sinatra Tribute, followed by a D.J. playing all your favorite hits from the 60’s. Don’t miss out on the first “Dancing at the Davis” party of the season.
