Take a break from the arts—engage in a conversation and watch some football
So you may or may not be a Dolphins or Bucs fan. Seeing as everyone is from somewhere else here you  may even be more likely to be a Bears, Patriots, Packers or Steelers fan. Whatever the case, there are hotspots with great views that are artistic all on there own where you can at least talk about art & entertainment while the game plays in the back. Try Firestone’s in Fort Myers if you want one of the best views in town at their Sky Bar. Also, Ford’s, Capones, Twisted Vine and Sunshine Grille will be playing the game. You may just find me at Moran’s this week as they have someone dress up as a Chicago Bear mascot to high-five you when our team scores.

Space Art
You may be surprised to learn what Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg and a few of other artists drew up and sent to space. I’ve seen it and all I can say is Andy drew a penis and Robert drew one line. Still worth the trip to talk about how these masterful artists have fooled us all. Find it at the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery. The event is free and open through Sept. 27. For more information head to or call 239.489.9313
