The traffic is busier than ever, in case you haven’t noticed. I wonder how much that has to do with the entire nation hitting sub-zero temperatures this week. Hello! Book of Mormon converts SWFL—Just go!

This show has been called the best musical of this century. I’d concur. It is irreverent, obscene, hilarious and faith inspiring all at one. I’m so happy it is coming to SWFL now. It is nearly sold out with just a couple of single tickets remaining. There is a lottery every night at 5:30 p.m. where you can get $25 tickets. The show plays through January 11 and then makes a jaunt to Artis—Naples for a week.

All about that Kate
Enjoy music by critically acclaimed jazz singer/ bassist Kate Davis at The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.

Kate Davis, singer/songwriter and upright bassist, is a multi-talented artist performing in diverse venues ranging from The Kennedy Center, The Blue Note (NYC), and Lincoln Center to Rockwood Music Hall. She is a rising star on the national jazz scene, with a tone and maturity beyond her 22 years. Her rich vocals and joyous performance style recall jazz singers from the 1940’s and 50’s.
